A Foreign Resident’s Identity Record in the Central African Republic

The carte de séjour in the Central African Republic belongs to foreign residents, rather than to Central African citizens applying for a national identity card. The Finance Ministry’s official code recognizes distinct residence-card categories, including privileged, ordinary and temporary residents. That distinction gives the photo request its context: the image accompanies a particular resident’s record and the category applicable to their circumstances.

Prepare the portrait as part of the residence file, with the passport and other identity documents requested by the receiving service. A visitor-visa photograph may already exist, but the earlier application does not establish how a residence image must now be delivered.
