Official Fijian visa photo requirements for 2026. Size, background and rules. Create a compliant photo online.
Image Created with AI for IllustrationFiji’s visitor-visa guidance asks for recent colour photographs showing the full face, head and shoulders against a plain or light-coloured background. The published instructions specify images less than six months old. The portrait accompanies the request for permission to travel, together with the passport details and evidence explaining the visit.
The photo requirements below and our framing, background, facial expression and photo quality guidance help review a current likeness. Use the actual application checklist for the quantity and submission format. Keep the photographs separate from the certified passport information-page copy, which records the existing travel document.
Holiday and transit applications have different supporting evidence. Fiji’s holiday checklist includes accommodation or a local sponsor, itinerary and financial information, while transit concerns the onward journey and relevant destination permission. Identify the correct purpose before arranging the file rather than combining materials from different routes.
Our visa finder helps establish the entry-research starting point, and the Fiji page links to related Fijian documents. The embassy and consulate directory helps locate the relevant representation for consular questions. Keep the requested identity documents and travel records consistent with the application, and distinguish a visitor visa from permission for employment or longer residence when planning activities in Fiji.
Photo dimensions must be precise to avoid rejection. The face-to-frame ratio is equally important for proper identification.
Use a plain, distraction-free background. We replace it automatically to meet official criteria.
Proper lighting ensures your photo is clear and natural. Uneven exposure or artificial glare can lead to rejection.
Your face must be fully visible with a neutral expression for easy identification and facial recognition.
Glasses are allowed only if they do not obstruct visibility. Headwear is permitted only for valid medical or religious reasons.
Improper posture can lead to application rejection. Your face and shoulders should be correctly aligned and fully visible.
