Official Palestinian passport photo requirements for 2026. Size, background and rules. Create a compliant photo online.
Image Created with AI for IllustrationPalestinian passport photo preparation depends on the issuing route and the applicant’s document status. The embassy in Sweden distinguishes a passport linked to a Palestinian identity number from a passport for external use. Its biometric service requires an appointment and personal attendance, with a specific exception and supplied photograph for children under sixteen.
For that child-photo route, the embassy lists a recent correctly sized image against white. Its separate external-use passport checklist describes a different photo set and background. Check which category applies before ordering pictures; a specification copied from another consular service may concern a different document or production process.
The photo requirements below introduce the portrait considerations, with our framing, background, facial expression and photo quality explanations for detail. Preserve a current likeness and follow the receiving office’s capture or submission instructions. When a child’s photograph is supplied, make sure the image identifies that child clearly rather than reusing a much older portrait.
Our Palestine page links to related Palestinian document guidance. Use the embassy and consulate directory to locate the mission handling the application and confirm its current checklist, including the requested identity documents and existing passport. The visa finder helps with destination research once the passport route is established. Keep identity-number status, passport type and photo preparation aligned throughout the application so the correct file reaches the issuing authority.
Photo dimensions must be precise to avoid rejection. The face-to-frame ratio is equally important for proper identification.
Use a plain, distraction-free background. We replace it automatically to meet official criteria.
Proper lighting ensures your photo is clear and natural. Uneven exposure or artificial glare can lead to rejection.
Your face must be fully visible with a neutral expression for easy identification and facial recognition.
Glasses are allowed only if they do not obstruct visibility. Headwear is permitted only for valid medical or religious reasons.
Improper posture can lead to application rejection. Your face and shoulders should be correctly aligned and fully visible.
