Saudi Arabian Visa Photo

Choose the Saudi Visa Route Before Exporting Your Photo

A tourist eVisa for Saudi Arabia has its own digital image instructions. The official Visit Saudi portal publishes a square portrait specification and a small file-size range, so an image prepared for a printed consular application may need a separate export. Keep your full-quality original: compressing the only copy repeatedly can destroy facial detail that cannot be recovered by enlarging the file later. The final digital photograph should remain a clear recognisable likeness after it meets the upload limits.

The tourist eVisa and a visa handled by an embassy are distinct submission routes. For example, the Saudi embassy in the United Kingdom publishes a tourist checklist asking for two recent passport-sized photographs. That requirement should not be combined with the online portal’s upload rule as though every applicant must do both. Use our visa finder to orient yourself and confirm the appropriate official route for your nationality and purpose. Our embassy and consulate directory can help locate the mission when consular processing is required.

Once the route is established, inspect the portrait for photo quality, accurate framing and a suitable background. Use the detailed photo requirements below for the visual checks, while taking the output dimensions and file limits from the application you are actually completing. Maintain adequate image resolution before the final reduction and avoid filters that alter features. Keep the portrait separate from scans of supporting identity documents, and check the applicant’s name when uploading for several travellers so each visa file receives the correct person’s image.
