Photographs Accompanying an Eswatini Work or Residence File

Temporary residence documentation in Eswatini is organized around the reason for staying, including employment, business, study and dependent status. Home Affairs’ permit instructions show why the photograph should be prepared after the correct category has been identified: each route associates the applicant with different supporting evidence.

The employee checklist requests two passport-size photographs with the application and an employer’s covering letter, qualifications and other records. The portrait identifies the worker whose case is being considered, while the employment documents explain the basis of the stay. Keep the prints together with the requested identity documents and certified copies.

For the image, preserve a current recognizable likeness and review photo quality, framing and facial expression. The service page does not give a universal numerical photo size, so obtain the receiving office’s delivery instructions before printing. Retain the original digital photograph if the same applicant needs a corrected copy or an additional image during assessment.

A dependent or student file should follow its own checklist rather than inherit the employee’s documents. The visa finder supports initial entry research, while the residence or pass application addresses the continuing stay. Keep the selected category clear when contacting Home Affairs so the photographs accompany the appropriate employer, institution or family evidence, and review the identity details on any document issued.
