A Togolese Diplomatic Portrait Submitted Through the Official Channel

A diplomatic passport in Togo is requested through the Foreign Ministry and transmitted through the security ministry to DGDN, according to the government’s public-service guidance. That differs from a citizen simply applying for an ordinary passport. Establishing the official channel and entitlement comes first; the portrait then identifies the person named in the authorised request.

The government passport checklist includes two white-background identity photographs. Prepare a current recognisable likeness with balanced framing, a plain background and an unforced facial expression, while following any additional instructions from the office coordinating the diplomatic file. A formal office portrait with flags or a wide composition is not automatically suitable for document reproduction. Check photo quality at the intended size and retain the original digital photograph for any corrected copies.

Keep the supporting identity documents, civil records and official request consistent, including the spelling of names. The passport’s diplomatic category does not remove the need for that personal identification. Confirm how the coordinating office wants the prints delivered rather than assuming every step of the ordinary online application applies unchanged. Those arrangements concern the planned journey, while DGDN’s issuing process concerns the authorised holder and the passport itself.
