Photo Preparation for an Emergency Travel Document in Aruba

The government of Aruba distinguishes an emergency passport and a laissez-passer from the ordinary national passport. These temporary travel documents can be considered when the regular document is lost, stolen or otherwise unavailable and a new passport cannot be obtained before the intended journey. The application is handled under conditions by the Governor’s Office.

Aruba’s official guidance says the applicant must first request a national passport through the Civil Registry and Population Register, Censo. That ordinary passport application includes a recent color portrait. Coordinate the two services before assuming that the same photograph, number of prints or submission arrangement automatically completes the emergency-document request.
