Your Belizean Passport Photograph and the Enrolment Portrait

A passport application in Belize involves two related photographs: the image you supply with the paperwork and the facial image recorded during enrolment. Belize Immigration explains that the photograph taken at the data-capturing station is used on the passport’s biodata page. Preparing the requested print therefore supports the application, while attendance also establishes the final passport portrait.

The published checklist asks for one photograph taken within six months. Its square format and white background are useful starting points when arranging your prints. The department also expects a natural, unaltered likeness. Our photo quality and framing guides help you review the picture before attaching it to the application package.

At the appointment, the reviewed documents and payment receipt accompany you to the station where the facial image and available fingerprints are recorded as biometrics. Bring the required identity documents and evidence supporting any name change; the photograph identifies the person whose details appear in those records. For children, check the parent or guardian attendance instructions before arranging the visit.

If applying abroad, use the embassy and consulate directory to locate the Belizean representation handling passport services in your area. Keep its appointment instructions with the photographic photo requirements, and distinguish the submitted picture from the image captured by the officer. For later travel, the visa finder can help you research destination entry arrangements separately from obtaining the Belizean passport.
