Burkinabè Passport Photo

A Burkinabè Passport Photo Set Alongside the Cnib

An ordinary passport application in Burkina Faso combines the applicant’s photographs with evidence of identity and nationality. The National Police publishes separate document lists for adults and minors, with passport-format photographs included in both. The image is consequently part of a wider identification file rather than a substitute for the civil records supporting the request.

The published checklist requests three identity photographs. For adults, it also lists the CNIB, birth and nationality documents and evidence of profession; a child’s file involves the child’s records and parental documentation. Before preparing the final submission, confirm the current arrangements with the passport service, especially when applying through a representation abroad.

Choose a current portrait and prepare a consistent set of prints. A recognizable likeness is more useful than an old photograph chosen merely because it was accepted before. Check photo quality and framing, and retain the original digital photograph if the receiving office needs another output. The facial expression guide can help with a natural face that remains easy to compare with the applicant.

Keep the photographs with the requested identity documents, checking that the file concerns the correct applicant and service. Our embassy and consulate directory helps locate a Burkinabè representation for applications abroad. The visa finder is useful when planning the destination journey, but any destination-visa photograph should be prepared against that application’s separate instructions.
