Four Identity Photographs for a Burkinabè Driving-Licence File

A driving-licence application in Burkina Faso identifies the candidate through a file submitted to the transport administration. The DGTTM publishes the contents of that candidate file, including four identity photographs. Preparing the photo set together with the other papers helps connect the licence request to the person taking the relevant steps toward authorisation to drive.

The transport authority’s checklist also asks for a copy of the CNIB or passport. It distinguishes additional medical documentation for categories C, D and E, illustrating why the application should identify the intended vehicle category. Use one current portrait to prepare matching prints, with enough photo quality for the face to remain clear at identity-photo size. Review framing and facial expression before printing. A recognizable likeness supports comparison with the applicant’s other identity documents; images from different sessions or heavily altered versions can make that comparison less straightforward.

Confirm the receiving transport office’s current submission arrangements before finalising the set. If the request is actually for replacement or an international permit, explain that clearly to DGTTM rather than assuming the first-application photo quantity applies to every licensing service.
