Two Matching Photographs for a Return to Congo

The laissez-passer tenant lieu de passeport, commonly shortened to LPTP, is a temporary return document issued by Congolese diplomatic and consular representations. It helps a national return to Congo-Kinshasa when a valid passport is unavailable, including after loss, theft or expiry. The government describes it as valid for a single journey to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The published checklist requests two recent, identical photographs on a white background. These accompany evidence such as the previous passport or loss report, a residence document from the host country and a reservation or ticket for the return journey. The portrait links the emergency travel document to the applicant’s available identity documents.

Prepare both prints from the same image, with a recognizable likeness and clear facial detail.
