Official Czech diplomatic passport photo requirements for 2026. Size, background and rules. Create a compliant photo online.
Image Created with AI for IllustrationA Czech diplomatic passport is issued by the Foreign Ministry and belongs to an authorised official role. The ministry confirms that it issues both diplomatic and service passports, identified by their passport numbers. The document should therefore be prepared through the responsible institutional route, with the holder’s identity and assignment correctly established.
The Czech travel-document legislation describes biometric information in applications for biometric diplomatic and service passports. This supports treating the portrait as part of the verified document record rather than a photograph selected for a staff biography. Obtain the current capture and submission instructions from the service handling the official request.
The photo requirements below introduce the image standards. Our framing, background, facial expression and photo quality explanations help with a clear, natural likeness. Keep the requested identity documents and official authorisation together, and distinguish the passport portrait from photographs that may later be requested for a foreign diplomatic identity card or accreditation.
Our Czechia page connects related Czech documents, while the embassy and consulate directory helps locate representation for an overseas posting. The visa finder can support initial destination research before the relevant official entry arrangements are confirmed. Passport issue, visa permission and accreditation serve different purposes even when they are being organised for the same assignment.
Photo dimensions must be precise to avoid rejection. The face-to-frame ratio is equally important for proper identification.
Use a plain, distraction-free background. We replace it automatically to meet official criteria.
Proper lighting ensures your photo is clear and natural. Uneven exposure or artificial glare can lead to rejection.
Your face must be fully visible with a neutral expression for easy identification and facial recognition.
Glasses are allowed only if they do not obstruct visibility. Headwear is permitted only for valid medical or religious reasons.
Improper posture can lead to application rejection. Your face and shoulders should be correctly aligned and fully visible.
