Two Photographs for Gabon’s Digital Driving-Licence Conversion

Gabon’s digital driving-licence programme brings existing driving entitlements into a secured document system. The transport ministry’s enrollment guidance distinguishes nationals, foreign residents and holders of a foreign-licence registration record. In each listed group, the application includes two identity photographs alongside the documents establishing the driver’s existing entitlement.

For nationals, the ministry identifies a passport or electronic national identity card; foreign residents present their residence card. Originals and copies of the existing licence are also part of the process. Someone holding a foreign-issued licence has an additional registration context, rather than simply applying for an ordinary first licence in Gabon.
