Guadeloupean Visa Photo

Your Photograph in a Visa Request for Guadeloupe

A visit to Guadeloupe needs the correct French overseas-territory assessment: Guadeloupe is outside the Schengen area. This matters before the photograph is prepared, because an application intended only for metropolitan France is not automatically the right visa request for the journey. Use the destination-specific questions in France-Visas to establish the applicable route and exemptions.

The official overseas visa form explicitly includes Guadeloupe and provides a place for the applicant’s photograph. Complete the travel and passport information for the actual destination, including any relevant transit plans. Our visa finder and embassy and consulate directory can help you locate useful travel information and the French representation responsible for receiving the dossier.

The image should connect the application with the person named in the supporting identity documents. Prepare a current portrait with a recognisable likeness, and review photo quality, framing and facial expression before selecting the final version. The detailed requirements below provide the visual checks, while the receiving mission’s checklist determines how the picture must be supplied.

Confirm whether the appointment requires prints, an electronic file or both, and keep the photo with the matching application reference. Where several destinations are involved, check the permission needed for each rather than assuming one photograph or application settles the whole itinerary. A complete image and dossier support assessment of the visa request; the competent authority makes the decision on admission documentation.
