Why Guyana’s Registration Portrait Matters Beyond the Card

An identification card issued through the Guyana Elections Commission belongs to a registration record, not simply to a photo order. GECOM directs eligible applicants to the registration office responsible for their address with the required source documents. The resulting card connects the registered personal details with an image that can be used during identity checks in Guyana.
