A Kosovo Licence Photo Within the Document-Issuance Process

Kosovo’s Ministry of Internal Affairs distinguishes a first driving licence, an additional vehicle category, renewal and exchange procedures. For a first licence or an added category after passing the examination, the published procedure requires personal attendance at a Document Issuance Centre. The application connects the driver in Kosovo with the entitlement established by the licensing records.

The checklist includes the examination certificate and a valid Kosovo identity card, or residence evidence for a foreign national, with the existing licence where a category is being added. Organise those identity documents before the visit and confirm how the centre handles the portrait. The public checklist does not establish a universal supplied-photo count for every licence transaction.

A national driving licence and an international permit have different functions and application rules, even when described on the same Ministry website. Likewise, exchanging another licence is not the same procedure as passing the first examination. Establish the correct service, then coordinate the photograph and documents with that request so the identity image is attached to the right licensing record.
