Solomon Islander Visa Photo

The Visitor’s Portrait in a Solomon Islands Visa File

A visitor-visa photograph for the Solomon Islands identifies the foreign traveller named in the application. The Immigration Division publishes Form 1 with a dedicated photograph space, making the portrait a distinct item from the passport biographical page. The latter proves the details of an existing travel document; the supplied portrait helps identify the person seeking entry. Use the visa finder to orient your journey, then follow the current Immigration checklist for your nationality and purpose of travel.

The tourist category covers leisure travel such as holidays and sightseeing. It should not be selected simply because its photo instructions seem easier than those of a work or resident route. Prepare the image for the application you actually need, checking framing, facial expression, background and photo quality against the detailed photo requirements. A clear recognisable likeness is more useful than a casual travel photograph, even when the visit itself is a holiday. If the process requests a digital photograph, submit the original usable image rather than a photograph of a printed sheet.

Immigration’s current service information and the form may describe different stages of submission, so confirm whether you should attach a file, provide prints, or follow another instruction in your account. Do not infer a universal photograph size or file limit from the outline of the form’s picture box. For questions that cannot be resolved in the application guidance, contact Immigration or the relevant office through the embassy and consulate directory. The image supports identification; the travel purpose, passport and other evidence support the visa decision.
