Zambian Diplomatic Passport Photo

The Colour Likeness in Zambia’s Diplomatic Passport Record

The European Union’s PRADO register describes a Zambian diplomatic passport specimen with a colour facial image and a secondary colour image on its biodata page. The registered version illustrates how the holder’s face is incorporated into the travel document. It is a document-authentication reference, not a current application checklist for every diplomatic-passport request.

For an applicant, the practical starting point remains the Zambian service coordinating the official document. Its instructions determine the supporting authorisation and how the portrait is submitted. A diplomatic visa checklist for a foreign visitor to Zambia concerns a different transaction and should not be used to infer the photo requirements for issuing a Zambian diplomatic passport.

Select a current portrait with a recognisable likeness, reviewing photo quality, framing, background and facial expression. The detailed specifications below help with preparation. Keep the original image available and supply matching prints or a file in the requested digital delivery format when the responsible service confirms the format. The associated identity documents and official paperwork should name the same person shown in the portrait. For diplomatic travel from Zambia, our embassy and consulate directory can help locate destination guidance separately from the passport-issuance process. A clear image supports recognition of the individual holder, while the document category and the arrangements for the official visit address the traveller’s role and purpose.
