Where to Get Passport Photos in Amherst, Massachusetts?

A Passport Portrait Between Campus and Poetry in Amherst, Massachusetts, United States

Amherst has room for both a busy university campus and the quieter world of Emily Dickinson. At the Emily Dickinson Museum, the Homestead and The Evergreens preserve the poet's family surroundings; nearby university life gives the town a very different rhythm. A study-abroad application or a trip home may call for a passport photo, even when the rest of your camera roll is full of campus memories. Fortunately, this portrait needs fewer words than a Dickinson poem.

Choose Your Stop in Amherst

Start with Amherst Center if your day takes you along North Pleasant Street. The listings also include North Amherst, with an address on Montague Road. University Drive is another useful street to check: its listings include CVS and The UPS Store. The Big Y World Class Market location group refers to a retail setting, rather than a separate residential neighborhood. Compare the exact address with your campus or home before setting out.

There are 12 directory listings to explore. A postal counter, shipping drop box or general retailer is not automatically a staffed photo service, so confirm that someone can take the photograph you need. For a United States passport, specify that document when contacting the shop; international students should name the issuing country of their own application.

Across 12 rated listings, the review-count-weighted average is 3.4 out of 5 from 148 reviews. These ratings cover the businesses overall. Comments about document photographs are more useful here than comments about parcels or shopping.

Fit the Photograph Around Your Plans

Ask for a price covering the number of prints you need, any digital file and the collection time. The directory does not have a verified local price range, so a direct quote is the fairest comparison. For a wider search, visit the United States directory.

Rostrio also lets you prepare a photo online from home or student accommodation when your application accepts a supplied image. Read the photo instructions, compare the online formats and prices with the local quote, and confirm any printing arrangements. Use Get Started below when you are ready.
