Cuban Driver's License Photo

Photographs Accompanying a Cuban Driver’s Medical Assessment

Obtaining a driving licence in Cuba involves more than identifying the driver on the finished document. The health assessment is a distinct part of the process, and Cuba’s published medical-examination regulation provides a concrete photograph requirement for that stage. It is useful to separate this medical file from any photograph subsequently requested by the licensing office.

Resolution 906/2022 describes making an appointment through the polyclinic’s designated official. The applicant brings the medical report from the relevant family doctor, an identity card and two identity-style photographs. These prints identify the person whose fitness to drive is being assessed; they should accompany the correct identity documents.

For that photo pair, use a current portrait with a recognizable likeness, clear facial detail and a natural facial expression. The photo quality and framing guides help with preparation. The regulation calls for identity-style photos but does not specify their dimensions in this checklist, so the receiving clinic’s instructions should establish the required output.

The licensing office may have its own photo request for issuance or replacement of the driving credential. Obtain those photo requirements separately before ordering additional copies. Retaining the original digital photograph makes it easier to prepare a consistent image for each requested format. The photographs support identification across the medical and licensing stages; they do not replace the examination or the authority’s assessment of driving entitlement.
