The White-Background Portrait in a Malaysian Evisa Application

Malaysia’s official eVISA guidance asks for a clear photograph with a pure white background for the social-visit application. The portal treats the portrait as its own upload, separate from passport and other supporting files. Preparing those attachments separately helps avoid submitting a scan of the passport page in the place reserved for the applicant’s photograph.
